The Wizards of the Destruction
Friday, August 26th, 2011High technology is now being used in cheating, as well as having an open book on the lap, and glancing slyly at the work of the neighbor; half of the students in the United States, according to surveys, have cheated in their school years. Cheating is also a problem in other countries, and anywhere you go. Some students say that their classes in school are boring and their exams such as the iq tests are hard that is why they are forced to cheat, and at home, they just spend their time in doing things that they want rather than studying. But as for other students, such as those living in Senegal, they admitted that they only cheat when they have not studied their lessons and one of the main reasons for it is laziness. There are a lot of reasons why a student should not resort to cheating no matter how great the pressure to have good grades may be; one of this is the risks that are involved because if this becomes a part of his permanent record, the results can be far reaching. Any student committing an act of academic dishonesty, according to a director of campus judicial programs, will be harming their future academic and employment opportunities; a girl related her story when her teacher caught her plagiarizing in her junior years, and even now she cannot make her teacher forget it. Because of this, she was not allowed to enrol to other schools.
